Whereas many Enterprise Data Architecture consultancies only focus on the central data warehouses we look at the overall picture of data in all its forms flowing through every level of an organisations infrastructure. That's why we specifically use the term Distributed Data Architecture to describe what we produce.

In modern Service Oriented Environments critical Business Information can sit everywhere - as well as in central data repositories it can also be stored in local purpose-built repositories, distributed as static XML documents, cached in message routing nodes on the Enterprise Service Bus or stored in application configuration files and in-line memory.

In order to produce a coherent and consistent view of an organisation Business Information all of the forms of data need to be considered in the Distributed Data Architecture with an appropriate set of principles and practices for managing it.

Consequently we focus on Architectural Frameworks to provide solutions to the problems that have to be solved within global distributed environments and exploiting the latest approaches to data collection, storage and distribution.

This is a real passion for us individually and as a company and we spend most of our time thinking about how data is used within an organisation and new ways to leverage what is available.
